In some other Indian languages lauki is known as ghiya, dudhi, sorakaya, sorakkai etc. It is one of the healthiest vegetable and is excellent to have during summers.
Instructions to make Bottle gourds Sabji:
- Chana dal & all vegetables are wash. Bottle gourd peeled and cut. Tomato, broccoli and coriander are cut in small pieces.
- Bottle gourd pieces and chana dal cook in the cooker till 2 whistles.
- Heat a oil in panon medium flame than add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and hing. When mustard seeds crackers add all spices than saute add tomato, brokoli, jaggery, bottle gourd and chana dal.Add half cup water and cook till 3 minutes. Switch off gas and add lemon juice.
- Ready for serve healthy, tasty bottle gourd sabji garnished with coriander leaves.Serve with paratha and enjoy.
