The ingredients needed to make Tomato sabji:
  1. Take 1/2 Kg Tomatoes -
  2. Make ready 1 Onion -
  3. Prepare 3 tbsp Oil -
  4. Take 1 tsp Jeera -
  5. Prepare 1 sprig Curry leaves -

I have used green tomatoes in this recipe. Green tomatoes are tangy in taste and it taste even better when cooked with green chili and garlic tadka. Wash and chop the onion and tomato into small pieces. In a cooker base, heat oil and splutter cumin seeds.

Instructions to make Tomato sabji:
  1. Heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard seeds. - - Now add jeera, chopped ginger, chopped garlic, slit chillies and the curry leaves. Then add the onions. - - As they turn pink, add the finely chopped tomatoes, salt and the chilli powder. When half done add the cream and cook till done. - - Add the kasuri methi and the powdered ground nuts and a tsp of jaggery or sugar. Simmer for 2-3 mins. - - Garnish with coriander leaves.

Wash and chop the onion and tomato into small pieces. In a cooker base, heat oil and splutter cumin seeds. Saute onion until transparent and then add ginger-garlic paste and curry leaves. Saute till the raw smell of g&g paste goes off. Okra Tomato Sabji is a simple stir fry of Bhindi along with tomatoes and spices.
