Saute onion until transparent and then add ginger-garlic paste and curry leaves. Saute till the raw smell of g&g paste goes off. In Gujarat Sev tomato sabji is very famous. Here I am posting the variation of regular tomato sabji.
Instructions to make Tomato sabji:
- Cut tomatoes in small pieces. Keep all ingredients ready.
- Add oil in pan. Add mastard seeds, cumin seeds and pinch of asfotedia.
- Add green chilli and ginger paste. Saute for a while and add tomatoes.
- Add red chilli powder, turmeric, coriander-cumin powder, salt and sugar mix it well.
- Add 1 cup water and cook it for 10 minutes. At the time of eating the sabji add bhavnagri gathiya and have it with roti.
In Gujarat Sev tomato sabji is very famous. Here I am posting the variation of regular tomato sabji. I have used green tomatoes in this recipe. Green tomatoes are tangy in taste and it taste even better when cooked with green chili and garlic tadka.
