- First cut the raw jackfruit. We have to grease our hands and knife with oil.
- Once cut keep aside. Now heat 1 tbsp oil and lightly fry the kathal.
- Now in a pressure cooker add oil and ginger garlic. Saute for a minute.
- Add sliced onion and sauté till brown.
- Add tomatoes and all spices. Saute well on low flame.
- Add curd and stir well to combine.
- Add jackfruit. Mix well. Add 1 cup of water.
- Cover the pressure cooker and cook for 3 to 4 whistle.
- Turn off the heat. Once the pressure released, open the cooker and add coriander leaves.
Jackfruit gravy can be made in lots of way. Throw the fried kathal pieces into the masala. The first and most critical step in preparing this subzi is to deep-fry the kathal. It is important to fry it really crisp in order to get this masaledar subzi right. Drain liquid from Jackfruit and cut into bite sized pieces.
