- Make ready 1/2 cup Water
- Get 1 tablespoon
- Prepare 2-3 tbsp Heavy whipping cream or fresh cream or malai(optional)

- Now take a non stick pan and add 1 tbsp of oil. - Let it heat up and add marinated paneer cubes - Let the paneer cook on low flame for 8-10 minutes - It will start leaving oil slowly.
- Take out all the paneer cubes and masala separated, leaving the oozed out oil in the pan only. Keep this aside in a plate till used further.
- Now in the same pan add whole cumin seeds, bay leaves and cardamoms. - Stir a bit and then add grated or very finely chopped onions. - Keep sautéing - Add ginger and garlic paste and keep stirring to let it cook.
- Then add pureed tomatoes. - Add salt and spice powders. Mix well. - Let it cook till all the moisture is evaporated and oil starts leaving the sides. - Then add garam masala and mix well.
- Add cooked paneer and stir nicely. Add 1/2-1 cup of water and cover the pan. - Once you see the gravy is boiling and paneer is getting cooked with the gravy add cubes of onion or onion bulbs (separated)
- Mix it very gently so paneer cubes do not break. - - At this time heavy cream can be added - Mix it and let it simmer for 3-4 minutes.
- Turn off the stove, paneer do pyaza is ready to serve.
