- Chop bhindis into 1 inch pieces.Pat dry completely with a paper towel.Heat oil and fry bhindi in low flame covered.In the remaining oil,sprinkle cumin seeds and hing.Saute onions then add ginger garlic paste,amchur(dry mango)powder.Add cumin powder,turmeric,kashmiri red chilli powder, tomato puree,salt and pinch of sugar to taste.
- Add the bhindi and toss.Sprinkle 1 tbsp water if needed.Add crushed kasoori methi and garam masala.Make a paste of 1 tbsp gramflour and mix it.Microwave high for 1 minute.Toss and microwave 1 minute.Cook covered in low flame till done if not using microwave.But should be careful as gramflour tends to stick without microwave and less oil.Weight watchers eat as it is or best served with any Indian flatbread or rice.
